Two states, three regions, one Euregio: located in the heart of Europe, our Euregio unites the three territories of Tyrol, South Tyrol, and Trentino. History ties these three regions together, a bond that is strengthened by many factors, including geography, economy and culture.
Our objective is to build bridges, live unity in diversity and achieve cohesion beyond borders - as a reflection of a little Europe in Europe. Cross-border cooperation is our tool. With transnational projects and initiatives we aim for continuously improving the quality of life of our citizens, supporting the European integration process and overcoming borders - not only the physical boundaries but also those that persist in the minds of people. We live united side by side and put commonalities before differences.
The challenges of the future, e.g. in mobility, transit, digitalisation, or climate change, do not stop at state borders. For this reason, we want to face these challenges with a common voice and common actions. Learning together and from each other is our motto. Our numerous initiatives for the youth or the projects in the cultural and social sphere have a high priority for us. Such projects provide an added value to our citizens and make our societies grow together further. And it is this what is dear to our hearts.
On our website, you can venture into the Euregio-world. Here you will find projects, initiatives, news, events as well as audiovisual media that will take you on a journey through our territories.
In conclusion, to put it with the late Richard von Weizsäcker, sixth President of the Federal Republic of Germany:
"What matters is not to shift borders, but to strip them of their divisive character".
In that sense, let us build together the Euregio Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino. We, all together, are the Euregio.
