Assembly

The Assembly consists of 15 members, namely:

  • The representative of every regional government with one other member for each territory
  • The representative of every regional parliament with two other members for every territory

The composition of the Assembly reflects the equality and parity between the three territories.

With the reform of the constitutional acts in 2021, the number of members of the Assembly was increased from 12 to 15, strengthening the legislative body compared to the executive body, which therefore now has a majority in the Assembly.

What are the main functions of the Euregio Assembly?
