  • 17 march 2017: Regions' Debate. Reflecting on the future of Europe

    The open debate taking place in Bolzano on 17 March from 10.00 to 12.30 in the Südtiroler Landtag, Silvius-Magnago-Platz no 6, is the first "Reflecting on Europe debate" jointly supported by the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) and the Italian Conference of Presidents of Regional Parliaments in the context of the mentioned CoR campaign "Reflecting on Europe".

  • President Juncker presented the White Paper of the European Commisison on the future of Europe

    The President of the Europea Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, presented yesterday at the plenary session of the Parliament the "White Paper on the future of Europe." As previously announced in the State of the Union speech 2016, the White Paper is the Commission’s contribution to the debate ahead of the European Summit to be held in Rome on March 25 on the occasion of celebration of the sixtieth anniversary of the Treaties of Rome.

  • Alpeuregio Summer School 2016

    Since 2011, and also this year, the European Region Tyrol – South Tyrol – Trentino organises the training course Alpeuregio Summer School in order to deepen the knowledge of the Institutions and the policies of the European Union. The training course, which attained its sixth edition and lasts nine days, is held in English and tackles both the functioning and the policies of the European Union and their role and outcomes in the life of the citizens of the Region.

  • EUREGIO’S SECOND CALL FOR RESEARCH PROJECTS

    The second call for the Euregio Fund for Scientific Research was published on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, on the homepage of the Euroregion Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino, which, with an amount of 1.4 million euro, aims to primarily support multi-year joint projects involving all three Euregional territories, regardless of their specific matter.

  • Launch Conference of the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region in Brdo, Slovenia

    The Launch Conference of the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP) will mark the move to the timely implementation phase of the Strategy, following its endorsement by EU leaders at the EU Council. The event, co-organized by the European Commission and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, will take place in Brdo (Slovenia) on the 25th and 26th of January 2016.

  • Commission launches the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region

    Today (28 July 2015) the Commission officially launched the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP), the fourth EU macro-regional strategy. More than70 million citizens will reap the benefits of a closer cooperation between regions and countries in terms of research and innovation, SME support, mobility, tourism, environmental protection and energy resources management.

  • 04.06.2015: Debate on the Juncker Plan: can it deliver strategic cross-border investment projects?

    The European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) intends to give an answer to the low level of investment in Europe produced by the global economic and financial crisis. The debate will aim at answering the following questions: How does the Juncker Plan work concretely? Which is the added value of cross-border cooperation among regions in the framework of EFSI?

    Comparing experiences of cross-border science regions: this is the main issue of the workshop in the European Academy of Bolzano, organized by the Institute for Studies on Federalism and Regionalism in collaboration with the European Region of Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino.

  • The 4th Euregio Youth Festival just ended

    The ideas, suggestions and requests developed within the fourth edition of the Euregio Youth Festival will be brought in late May to East Tyrol, where the EGTC Board will discuss them at its general meeting. The Tyrolean Provincial Governor and EGTC President Günther Platter promised that to the one hundred Youth Festival participants on Saturday, March, 28th, the final day of the event.
