Excitement grows for a worldwide broadcast Tour of the Alps

The roads of the Tirol-Südtirol-Trentino European Region are set to reach more than 100 Countries all over the World from April 19th to 23rd: 2 hours a day of live coverage to follow the clash of the great names of cycling

Less than a week to go until the big start in Brixen/Bressanone. Five days of enticing challenges without borders, with champions by the likes of FroomeNibaliQuintanaBardetPinot and Yates at the starting line, the Tour of the Alps (19-23 April) is one of the most anticipated events of the spring calendar.

Such a great show won’t be available to the fans on the road, due to Covid restrictions, but it will travel around the globe to reach the screens everywhere in the World, between TV and web streaming. Also this year, Italian company PMG Sport will produce and distribute the stage race organized by GS Alto Garda under the aegis of European Region Tirol-Südtirol-Trentino.

In 2021, the Tour of the Alps will once again enjoy extensive media coverage, with 2 hours of live broadcast every race day. Cycling fans will be able to follow the race live on Eurosport 1 and Eurosport Player – which will broadcast the signal in Europe, East Asia, USA, Canada, South America, Central America, Pacific Area, and the Indian Subcontinent – RaiSport (Italy), ORF (Austria), and many other TV and web broadcasters.

Like in past, the Euro-regional stage race will also be visible on online platforms, starting with PMG Sport’s Facebook page and Youtube channel – and numerous other media, apps, and websites, such as Global Cycling NetworkLa RepubblicaTuttobiciweb, and the website of the Italian Cycling Federation.

This means that the Tour of the Alps will be watched in about 100 Countries around the World, among live, delayed and on-demand coverage.
