  • Euregio conference: Cooperating to share responsibility in Europe

    “The Euregio? A way to try making the best use of a tool that our territories have been managing for a long time, the Autonomy, which essentially means self-government. Words that pronounced in these hours in Europe recall a situation of concern; but for us, they are the real answer to the needs of the territories that claim the right to express themselves".

  • Trento included in the European Cultural and Creative Cities Monitor for its performances in culture and urban creativity

    The first edition of the Report of the Cultural and Creative Cities Monitor was recently published by the European Commision. The Monitor selected 168 cities in 30 european countries (EU28, Norway and Switzerland), on the bases of three measurable and comparable criteria: 93 cities which have been or will be European Capitals of Culture up to 2019 or which have been shortlisted to become European Capitals of Culture up to 2021; 22 UNESCO Creative Cities; 53 cities hosting at least two regular international cultural festivals running until at least 2015. The city of Trento was selected because of its matching with this last criteria.

  • 7 April 2017: Alpeuregio Summer School - Deadline for applications

    We wish to present the 7th edition of the Alpeuregio Summer School on Institutions and Policies of the European Union which is being organized by the Representation of the European Region Tyrol – South Tyrol – Trentino in Brussels. The course will be held at the Representation Office of the European Region Tyrol – South Tyrol – Trentino in Rue de Pascale 45-47 in Brussels. It will take place from 3rd to 13th of July 2017.

  • 17 march 2017: Regions' Debate. Reflecting on the future of Europe

    The open debate taking place in Bolzano on 17 March from 10.00 to 12.30 in the Südtiroler Landtag, Silvius-Magnago-Platz no 6, is the first "Reflecting on Europe debate" jointly supported by the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) and the Italian Conference of Presidents of Regional Parliaments in the context of the mentioned CoR campaign "Reflecting on Europe".

  • President Juncker presented the White Paper of the European Commisison on the future of Europe

    The President of the Europea Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, presented yesterday at the plenary session of the Parliament the "White Paper on the future of Europe." As previously announced in the State of the Union speech 2016, the White Paper is the Commission’s contribution to the debate ahead of the European Summit to be held in Rome on March 25 on the occasion of celebration of the sixtieth anniversary of the Treaties of Rome.

  • Alpeuregio Summer School 2016

    Since 2011, and also this year, the European Region Tyrol – South Tyrol – Trentino organises the training course Alpeuregio Summer School in order to deepen the knowledge of the Institutions and the policies of the European Union. The training course, which attained its sixth edition and lasts nine days, is held in English and tackles both the functioning and the policies of the European Union and their role and outcomes in the life of the citizens of the Region.

  • Launch Conference of the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region in Brdo, Slovenia

    The Launch Conference of the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP) will mark the move to the timely implementation phase of the Strategy, following its endorsement by EU leaders at the EU Council. The event, co-organized by the European Commission and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, will take place in Brdo (Slovenia) on the 25th and 26th of January 2016.

  • Commission launches the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region

    Today (28 July 2015) the Commission officially launched the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP), the fourth EU macro-regional strategy. More than70 million citizens will reap the benefits of a closer cooperation between regions and countries in terms of research and innovation, SME support, mobility, tourism, environmental protection and energy resources management.

    The Representation of the European Region Tyrol - South Tyrol - Trentino in Brussels is organizing the fifth edition of the Alpeuregio Summer in "Institutions and Policies of the European Union".

  • EU-Video contest "border issues, border solutions" until 15 july!

    This year, The European Cooperation Day includes an EU-wide video competition under the motto ‘border issues, border solutions’. This contest will be coordinated by the INTERACT programme with the support of the European Commission, DG Regio. To participate upload your video on Vimeo or Youtube and then register it on this page until the end of 15 July 2014.
