The EU Liaison Office of the Euroregion Tirol-Südtirol/Alto Adige-Trentino in Brussels at the service of the citizens
The EU Liaison Office in Brussels was set up in 1995 to facilitate a better representation of EU-related issues and the economic interests of Tirol, Südtirol/Alto Adige and Trentino and to improve the information flow with decision-making authorities at the European Commission. The liaison office, which was set up as proof of cross-border cooperation by the three provinces Tirol-Südtirol/Alto Adige-Trentino, is situated right in the heart of the European Quarter, just a few minutes' walk from the most important buildings of the EU institutions.
The governors of the provinces present a new internet portal, brochure and logo
The Euroregion Tirol-Südtirol/Alto Adige-Trentino gets a new appearance. At a press-conference on Sept. 19, 2002, the three governors Wendelin Weingartner, Luis Durnwalder and Lorenzo Dellai presented a new internet portal, a new information brochure, and the new logo of the Euroregion created by students of the former "Akademie für Design" (Design Academy).
Historic exhibition 2000 - three provinces, three places, one exhibition
The transition from the Middle Ages to the modern age, around 1500, was the topic of the first common exhibition of the three provinces Tirol-Südtirol/Alto Adige-Trentino which attracted thousands of visitors to the "Hofburg" at Brixen/Bressanone (South Tirol), to Castel Beseno (Trentino) and Schloß Bruck near Lienz (Tirol).
Transplant recipients achieve top performances in sports
The 5th edition of Euregio-Tour, held on 24-26 of June, 2005, was organised from Innsbruck to Arco. After four successful editions of this special cycling event, this year's "Euregio-Tour" again offered a chance to transplant recipients to show the public in the three provinces how they live their new life and how well they perform in sports.
Exhibition 2005 - Tirol-Südtirol/Alto Adige-Trentino
Organized by the Province of Tirol together with the Autonomous Provinces of Südtirol/Alto Adige, and Trento. The sites of the exhibition will be the former salt warehouses at Hall in Tirol and the "Alpinarium" in the avalanche-protection dam at Galtür (Tirol). The organizers of the exhibition (curators and arrangement) will be selected in the course of a competition in September 2003. Other thematic exhibitions of the three provinces are envisaged for 2006 in Trentino and for 2009 in South Tirol.
First study drafted by the „Euregio Observatory“ (Eurobs)
Innsbruck, 25 February 2005. The founding members of the "Euregio Observatory", (Eurobs), the Bank of Trento and Bolzano and the Universities of Bolzano, Trento and Innsbruck, on this occasion represented respectively by the Director General, Aldo Dante, Dario Zadra, Enrico Zaninotto and Gottfried Tappeiner, presented "Euregio: the dynamics of export", the first study drafted by the observatory, to the authorised press.
EU Project: "Vocational Training as a Passepartout for the Future"
This project aims at establishing efficient structures of vocational training by investing in infrastructures and the education of teachers and trainers. It is implemented by the Autonomous Province of Trento in conjunction with its partners, the Autonomous Province of Bolzano-Südtirol/Alto Adige, the Province of Tirol and the people's committee of the Province of Bac Ninh (Vietnam). The objective of this project is a re-organisation of the regional structures of vocational training.
